I met Gina a Model at D&A Model Management during a Godox lighting workshop and we decided along with other photographers to brake away from the workshop and do I own thing.
She was easy to work with and had no expectations. It’s a fine line between a model’s beauty and what they are hired for. It’s that play between the individual and what they are there to represent.One element hoping they are not overpowered by the other.
With Gina, it was seamless and elegant. Like most photographers, in that instant, one gets lost in the moment with only that imperceptible click of the camera a reminder of time’s passage. I watched her fade effortlessly into the environment, the neutral colours she wore, seemed to pull autumn from ground and sky around her. In strong contrast were those bold moments where she stood in quiet defiance of those elemental forces. It’s rare to have these moments and this amazing synergy between model and photographer.
Looking at the moments we managed to capture, I’ve come to understand how rare it is for beauty, elegance, talent and hard work to be found in someone like Gina. I hope if you as fortunate to work with her, you will find the same qualities that I have and more.
